Virginia works on informal settlement assistance at the intersection of anthropologically informed design and policy advocacy. Previously, she worked on informal settlement research in Istanbul, Turkey as a 2023-2024 Fulbright Scholar. She also worked as a civil servant at the U.S. Treasury Department's International Affairs team, where she shaped U.S. public policy on International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank funding to Caribbean countries. In this capacity, she served as the U.S. Treasury Representative to the U.S. Embassy in Port au Prince. She holds a B.A. in International Studies.
