JS Tan
Doctoral Student
JS Tan is a PhD student in the international development group. His research interests include the political economy of innovation, industrial policy and platform economies. He completed his bachelor in computer science at Brown University and his masters of arts and science at the MIT Media Lab. Previously, he also worked as a software engineer at Microsoft. He was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Beijing.
