Anushree Chaudhuri

SB/MCP '24, PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge

Anushree (she/her) graduated from MIT in 2024 with bachelor's degrees in urban studies and planning and economics and a Master in City Planning (MCP). During her time at DUSP, Anushree was a researcher with the Science Impact Collaborative and the MIT Renewable Energy Facility Siting Clinic led by Larry Susskind. She is currently a PhD candidate and Marshall Scholar at the University of Cambridge, where she is studying the socioeconomic impacts of clean energy infrastructure and issues of energy justice. By taking an interdisciplinary approach—one that combines law, economics, planning, conflict resolution, participatory research, and data science—Anushree is committed to a career creating policies and programs that are data-driven, human-centered, and incorporate the nuanced issues of environmental justice.
